Logan and Tania Bowyer, along with the kids Chloe and Joel, have touched down in Copenhagen, Denmark, for Apimondia 2025 - the world’s largest gathering of beekeepers, honey producers, scientists, and industry leaders.

This year’s event has broken records, with the highest number of registrations in Apimondia history. Hosted at the Bella Center, Scandinavia’s largest conference and exhibition venue, Apimondia is a truly global stage for showcasing the importance of bees, honey, and pollination in securing the world’s food supply.

For Logan and Tania, visiting Copenhagen has long been on the wish list to visit - and Apimondia provided the perfect backdrop. Frequently ranked the world’s most liveable city, with some of the happiest people on the planet, it’s also known as one of Europe’s leading gourmet capitals, home to an impressive 23 Michelin-starred restaurants. It’s the ideal place to share the story of New Zealand’s honeys with a global audience that truly values provenance, craftsmanship, and flavour.

This year marks a milestone for Manuka Orchard, with the launch of our own consumer honey brand, one we are very proud of - Bees Favour.

Our stand at Apimondia features the three distinct Bees Favour ranges:

  • Mānuka Range - celebrating New Zealand’s most sought-after honey.

  • Specialty Small Batch Range - showcasing rare and unique native varietals.

  • Infused Range - a creative twist on honey, pairing it with natural flavours.

Even on day one, the interest has been strong. The team already had significant engagement from buyers in India and the United States - two markets where demand for New Zealand Mānuka honey continues to grow rapidly. Beyond trade opportunities, it’s inspiring to see more than two dozen countries represented here, with experts across science, policy, and apiculture all focused on one shared mission: the health of bees and the pollination of the world’s food supply.

Manuka Orchard is proud to be here in Copenhagen, representing New Zealand and playing our part in the future of global beekeeping.
